SHRIMP MEAL
This coarse crustacean meal adds texture to boilies and has been used by bait companies for a number of years. Being a very low-density product it is important that it is not included excessively in base mixes but is excellent for reducing the density of baits. This helps to make them 'fly up' into the mouth of fish more easily than heavier baits when fish are grubbing around, feeding in the baited area. But, as with Krill Meal, beware of over-inclusion as you may end up with buoyant baits!

Tip:
Can be used up to 1-2oz per lb. (Depending on other ingredients used). Other sensitive ingredients are Krill Meal and Vitamealo, Calcium and Sodium Caseinate and Wheat Germ. Dense ingredients, ideal for 'counterbalancing' are Limestone Flour, Supergold 60, Poultry Protein Meal and Maize Four etc.
